• Install OpenRPF (https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/openrpf-openiv-asi-for-gta-v-enhanced).

This can be downloaded by joining dexyfex discord server https://discord.gg/BxfKHkk and then opening the channel "releases".
 • Run CodeWalker RPF Explorer.exe
 • Click on File -> Configure Game... and then select your GTA V Enhanced folder. You may need to restart CodeWalker RPF Explorer after changing that.

Manual installation
≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡

Described for "San Andreas"; use "vegetation_reflection_cayo" instead of "vegetation_reflection" to install it for Cayo Perico.

• Create a new folder "vegetation_reflection" in Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
• Extract vegetation_reflection\dlc.rpf to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\vegetation_reflection
(so finally there must be Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\vegetation_reflection\dlc.rpf)
• Check if there is a file Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\mods\update\update.rpf
If not then copy the file Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\update\update.rpf to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\mods\update\update.rpf
• Use CodeWalker RPF Explorer to edit Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml
• Add a new line

dlcpacks:/vegetation_reflection/

 before line
 </Paths>

≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡

Described for "San Andreas"; use "vegetation_reflection_cayo" instead of "vegetation_reflection" to install it for Cayo Perico.

Revert the steps from section "Manual installation":
• Use CodeWalker RPF Explorer.exe to edit Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml
• Remove any line like

dlcpacks:/vegetation_reflection/

• Go to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks and remove the folder vegetation_reflection

Known issues
≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡

As of April 2025 there is no way to adapt the shader in GTA V Enhanced. But an adapted shader is needed to properly render the dedicated models used for reflections in cars, puddles and on wet streets.
When using "Enable Ray Tracing" and "Ray Traced Reflections" set to "Very High" or "Ultra" then this is not an issue because in that case these dedicated models are not used.
Otherwise in reflections you may notice rectangles around bushes, trees and palms that obscure other entities.
